Brian Bolland's (Britian 1951 - ) flawless linework speaks for itself. his consistently impeccable rendering of everything, down to even the smallest background minutia, is humbling. every line forces even the greatest artists in the world to put down their pen and stare, eyes wide and jaw slacked open. this is an installment of "The Actress and the Bishop," which Bolland wrote as well as drew. oh, and this was all done digitally, which i just cannot wrap my brain around. HERE is an insightful interview that looks into his digital work.
